When I asked about cheaper prices/offers for the paper version, otherwise I'd cancel, they immediately offered me a lower price. On the second attempt, they told me I'd signed a new contract starting March 1st, 2026. Ugh, I don't know why they didn't mention that when I switched. Were they afraid I'd cancel? 🤷🏼♀️ When I tried to sign up for the e-paper, it didn't work because the new contract only started on March 1st, 2026, even though I'd been reading the Schwäbische Post for decades. So I called again and complained. I explained everything again. Now it's been activated. Why aren't all the facts explained right away?

For well over two years, I've only received the newspaper sporadically. This morning, there was no paper again, just like twice this month. Every morning it's a lottery whether the paper will be there or not. At times, I haven't received it for four days in a row. When I complain, I always get the same answer: "Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do; the problem lies with the delivery service. You'll receive a credit note, you can read the digital edition, blah blah blah." I want my newspaper at the breakfast table, and I don't want a digital version. I don't want a credit note; I want the paper itself—that's precisely why I subscribed. If the cooperation with the delivery service isn't working, then in my opinion, the Schwäbische Post could have addressed and resolved the problem already if they were truly interested in a solution, given that it's been going on for well over a year. I'll give the newspaper one or two more chances, but if the situation doesn't improve soon, I'll cancel my subscription immediately. Then at least I can be sure there won't be a newspaper in my mailbox every morning. I want my newspaper at the breakfast table, and I don't want it digitally. UPDATE: Since nothing has changed, I cancelled my subscription today.

I used to be a full subscriber. Currently, for various reasons, I often use the short-term subscriptions, which were always great offers. But now the whole thing is handled by a call center, and they're not very customer-friendly. You don't have a contact person like you used to, some of whom you even knew personally. Then, terms were agreed upon and not honored. When I complained, they couldn't say anything except that they were sorry. After my last subscription, I didn't want to be called by the call center again. But they called me anyway, and the nice lady offered me so many options that I ended up signing up for something again. Because something went wrong again—which isn't really a big deal—I had to call again and ask them to send me confirmation of the offer. Apparently, this was supposed to have been confirmed by letter and also by email. During my second phone call to remind them, the woman on the phone refused to address my problem... she said it had already been sent out twice, and that the boss had handled it... it was unacceptable that nothing had arrived... She then accused me of lying... such a nerve!... and I can only complain here... What has happened to our good old Schwäpo newspaper?! It's a real shame the way things are going right now...
