Gasthof Liederhalle Martin Bieg | Opening Hours & Menu

The Gasthof Liederhalle Martin Bieg in Aalen-Hofen combines rural hospitality with a clear, versatile offer for dining, overnight stays, and small leisure moments. The address at Dorfstraße 42 is located at the outskirts of Hofen, and the establishment serves as a guesthouse, restaurant, and accommodation. The website features Swabian cuisine made from regional products, take-away daily meals, homemade sausage and canned specialties, rooms with modern amenities, as well as a beer garden, a playground, a petting zoo, and bowling alleys. This makes the Liederhalle suitable not only for a classic restaurant visit but also for families, travelers, groups, and guests looking for a quiet accommodation with practical extras. Particularly noteworthy is the mix of traditional orientation and functional everyday usability: Here, you get hearty cuisine, overnight options, bike services, and an offer for celebrations or small events all in one place. The access is described via the A7 and B29, making the location easily findable for guests from the region and beyond. ([liederhalle-hofen.de](https://www.liederhalle-hofen.de/))

Swabian Cuisine, Daily Meals, and Homemade Specialties

The culinary profile of the guesthouse is clearly focused on Swabian cuisine and regional products. The homepage explicitly mentions Swabian cuisine made from regional products and additionally lists daily meals that can also be taken away, as well as homemade sausage and canned specialties. The menu confirms this down-to-earth focus with classics such as beef broth with pancake strips, lovage soup with smoked salmon, large salad plate with marinated grilled cheese, Wiener schnitzel, pork steak with mushroom cream, pepper roast beef on cheese spaetzle, onion roast beef with spaetzle, turkey steak in curry sauce, breaded Maultaschen, braised pork cheeks, rabbit leg, Cordon bleu, Swabian delight, and Sauerbraten. Additionally, there are meatless, vegetarian, and vegan options such as Swabian cheese spaetzle or a vegetable platter with fried potatoes. This makes the menu versatile without losing its regional character. Particularly useful is that the Liederhalle does not commit to a single culinary format: Those looking for something quick at lunchtime will find the daily meal; those wanting a classic dinner in the evening can choose between warm main dishes and snacks; those looking for specialties to take home will find homemade canned sausage and other products for takeaway. Even the desserts remain approachable and uncomplicated, with options like mixed ice cream, strawberry sundae, banana sundae, or sorbet with fresh fruit. Overall, the impression is of a place that does not rely on fashionable presentation but rather on honest, recognizable cuisine that fits the region and covers many different occasions. Opening Hours, Kitchen Times, and Take-away Orders

For inquiries about opening hours, the Liederhalle is very transparent. According to the website, the guesthouse is open on Mondays and Thursdays to Sundays from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM; Tuesdays and Wednesdays are rest days. The kitchen hours are a bit tighter and are indicated as Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For those wanting to take away daily meals or dinner, clear ordering deadlines are also provided: Lunch should be ordered by 10:00 AM, and dinner by 4:30 PM. This information is practical for guests as it provides planning certainty and shows that the establishment is organized for both spontaneous visits and targeted pre-orders. The daily meals page also shows that a specific menu plan is published weekly and that the offers are kept current; the current page lists soup, main course, vegetarian option, and dessert for individual weekdays. Additionally, the menu indicates prices for daily dishes, desserts, and snacks, which makes orientation easier. So, anyone looking for opening hours, kitchen times, or daily meals will not encounter a confusing system but rather fixed times, understandable processes, and a structure that is particularly pleasant for families, working individuals, and travelers. Reservations for bowling alleys are also handled by phone, which fits the personal, direct organization of the house. Overall, the Liederhalle conveys the image of a well-accessible, reliably structured guesthouse where current opening hours and daily offers are clearly communicated. Rooms, Prices, and Amenities for Overnight Stays

Those wishing to stay overnight in Aalen-Hofen will find a compact, functional hotel offer at the Liederhalle with clearly defined services. The rooms page describes modern guest rooms, where according to the house, each room has its own bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, and LAN, and is designated as a non-smoking room. Single rooms are listed from 73 euros per night with breakfast, and double rooms from 99 euros per night with breakfast. Check-in is possible from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Pets can be brought upon request; a fee of 15 euros per night is mentioned for dogs. The accommodation page of the Swabian Alb adds further practical details: Among other things, a quiet location, a restaurant, full board, a playroom, children's playground, board games, high chair, vegetarian cuisine, bike parking, a farm shop, an e-bike charging station, and a parking lot at the house are listed. For business travelers or conference guests, it is also interesting that the house operates as a guesthouse and can accommodate up to 70 conference guests. The combination of a simple, clear room structure and many small service points makes the overnight stay attractive for guests who do not seek an anonymous chain logic but rather a direct, manageable accommodation with personal character. In connection with breakfast, private bathroom, internet access, and nearby leisure options, a coherent picture emerges for weekend guests, bike travelers, families, and visitors to the region. Access, Location, and Parking at the Outskirts of Aalen-Hofen

The location of the guesthouse is a central theme for many inquiries, and here the website provides very concrete information. The establishment is located at Dorfstraße 42 in 73433 Aalen-Hofen and is described on the contact page as a house at the town's exit. A clear route is provided for arrival: Via the A7 to the Aalen/Westhausen exit, then on the B29 towards Aalen until the signpost AA-Hofen, further on the country road until the turn-off to Hofen, and then into the village until the town exit. This description is helpful for drivers as it provides a clear travel path without detours. Additionally, the accommodation page mentions parking spaces at the house, which significantly simplifies parking for restaurant and hotel guests. For bike travelers and mobility-conscious individuals, the bike garage, e-bike charging station, and e-bike charging point are a practical bonus. The location at the outskirts also has an advantage, which the website indirectly emphasizes: The beer garden is quiet and away from the road, and the house is designed for relaxed dining or overnight stays. So, anyone looking for access, parking, or location will find here an address that is not in the center's hustle and bustle but is easily accessible and pleasantly quiet at the same time. This combination of a clear route description, parking at the house, and bike service is particularly valuable for families, day guests, or groups as it makes the visit uncomplicated. Even for longer stays, the location makes sense: One can reach the house via regional roads, leave the car on-site, and still benefit from an offer that combines restaurant, rooms, and leisure areas. This makes the Liederhalle an address that works for both quick stops and planned stays. ([liederhalle-hofen.de](https://liederhalle-hofen.de/de/Kontakt-und-Anfahrt/))

Beer Garden, Playground, Petting Zoo, and Bowling Alleys

Among the most notable features of the Liederhalle are the family-friendly outdoor areas and the bowling offer. The website describes the beer garden as cozy and mentions around 50 seats in summer. It is quiet and away from the road, allowing for relaxed dining and drinking. Right next to it is a playground, located on the opposite side of the street or away from the road, so children can play freely. In the old orchard under trees, rabbits and guinea pigs live; upon request, it is possible to pet and feed them under supervision. This makes the establishment particularly interesting for families with children, as not only can they eat, but they can also experience something. Additionally, there are bowling alleys available during opening hours. There is one or two lanes for bowling enthusiasts, which can be spatially separated and offer up to 13 seats per lane. The price per hour and lane is 10.50 euros, and reservations are made by phone. According to the website, bowling alleys are not only intended for sporting rounds but also for children's birthdays, corporate events, or family celebrations. This multipurpose use makes the place relevant for inquiries related to leisure, birthdays, or group events. While the beer garden focuses on quiet enjoyment in summer, the playground with the petting zoo creates a relaxed, casual atmosphere for families, and the bowling alleys expand the house with a sociable indoor offer. This results in a rare mix of dining, nature feeling, child-friendliness, and leisure fun that distinguishes the guesthouse from a pure dining establishment. For guests looking for not just a meal but a small outing with multiple components, this is an important added value. ([liederhalle-hofen.de](https://www.liederhalle-hofen.de/))

Conferences, Family Celebrations, and Practical Services

For groups, small events, and practical everyday questions, the Gasthof Liederhalle also provides clear answers. The accommodation page mentions that it can host up to 70 guests for conferences and lists suitable technology such as projector, flip chart, internet connection in the conference room, screen, and overhead projector. This makes the house not only a classic guesthouse but also a place for meetings, training sessions, or small corporate events. At the same time, the website repeatedly addresses the celebratory and group character: The bowling alleys are explicitly suitable for children's birthdays, corporate events, or family celebrations, and the outdoor area with beer garden, playground, and petting zoo further supports the private occasion character. It is also practical that vegetarian cuisine is mentioned on the accommodation page, the establishment is operated as a non-smoking accommodation, and both bike parking and a parking lot at the house are available. For many visitors, this mixture of clear service points is crucial: One finds an address where they can eat, sleep, host a small event, and at the same time pay attention to practical matters such as parking, bike storage, or e-bike charging station. The house is thus particularly suitable for guests who appreciate uncomplicated organization and do not seek a large anonymous event center. Instead, the Liederhalle offers a manageable, personal environment with multiple uses, ranging from lunch breaks to family dinners to conferences. The website also shows that the operators cover a wide practical spectrum: from daily meals to rooms and prices to gifts for every occasion. So, anyone looking for a location for groups, celebrations, or conference-like meetings in Aalen-Hofen will find a solid, well-documented combination of gastronomy, accommodation, and functional additional offers. My review is about the restaurant. I haven't stayed at the hotel. The food tasted amazing and was delicious. The price performance is good. I'm a very good eater, so the quantity is ok, but especially for me, a little bit more wouldn't be bad ;) The rooms at the restaurant looked spacious. So I didn't get the feeling over Christmas that the area, even if everybody was there, was crowded. 4 stars because we had to wait half an hour for our desserts. The desserts were banana ice and a variety of ice, so it was nothing special. Why we had to wait that long, nobody knows. And it took again some time to pay for our stuff. Maybe the communication was off or something else. But still, I would recommend this restaurant at any time, and we will be back next year!

Very friendly staff that welcome you with a smile. Food looked good and was decently priced. The ambiance was good, one could call it dated but it has its charms and the interior is properly maintained. Room was very clean, had Gummibears as a welcome gift. The bathroom wasn't too big but had plenty of towels, soap, cups and a hairdryer. Bus ride to Aalen takes about 15min with a busstop right near the hotel. Breakfast was complete, you can request items for your breakfast when you arrive. All in all a good experience!

This is a very nice and friendly family hotel. The interior may be a bit old, but that didn't matter, since the room was good. The prices are good too, and the included breakfast is great. They also serve good food at reasonable prices. I definitely recommend this hotel.
