When the Castle Ghost Awakens at the Christmas Market
On December 22, 2026, a touch of stage magic sweeps over the Spritzenhausplatz at the Reichsstädter Advent in Aalen. The Remstal Puppet Theater brings the puppet theater The Castle Ghost to the stage, a classic hand puppet play for children and families.
Puppet Theater with Charm and Imagination
The centerpiece is a lovingly crafted ghost story that makes the magic of puppetry immediately experienceable. Hand-led figures, pointed dialogues, and a clearly structured dramaturgy combine to create a stage experience that makes young viewers curious about the world of theater.
A Winter Theater Atmosphere
Amidst the glow of lights, market stalls, and Christmas spirit, a special theater atmosphere is created. The stage design of the puppet theater opens a glimpse into a fairy-tale castle world, while the tempo of play, acoustics, and visible puppetry shape the closeness to the audience.
For Young Theater Fans Aged Four and Up
The Remstal Puppet Theater is a traditional family of puppeteers in the tenth generation. The production is aimed at children aged four and up and combines classic elements of Kasperle theater with an imaginative story about courage, friendship, and the allure of the uncanny. The performance lasts about 50 minutes.
Free Entry at the Reichsstädter Advent
The event takes place as part of the Aalen Christmas Market Reichsstädter Advent. Entry is free. In dry weather, the puppet stage will be set up at Spritzenhausplatz; in unfavorable weather, the performance may be moved to a sheltered event space.
Conclusion: Experience Christmas Magic Live
The puppet theater The Castle Ghost promises an imaginative family experience with classic acting art in a small format. Those who want to bring sparkle to children's eyes and experience the special closeness of puppet theater will find a delightful afternoon for the whole family at the Aalen Christmas Market.
