The online parenting course “Kess Parenting: Adventure Puberty” brings structure, practical impulses, and a good dose of calmness into this tumultuous life phase.
Five Evenings for More Orientation in Family Life
The practical course is aimed at parents of children and teenagers aged 11 to 16 years. The focus is on the strengths of adolescents and parents, as well as the question of how relationships can remain viable even when discussions about screen time, order, or curfews suddenly take on the character of a full-length stage production.
The five course units address typical situations from everyday parenting. Parents receive suggestions for early de-escalation of conflicts, promoting their children's independence, while setting clear, respectful boundaries.

The name KESS stands for cooperative, encouraging, social, and situationally oriented. This attitude forms the common thread of the parenting course. Instead of one-size-fits-all recipes with a raised finger, there are practical perspectives, exchanges, and concrete ideas for a more relaxed togetherness.
Topics discussed include the worlds of adolescents, social needs, handling conflicts, strengthening positive life feelings, and accompanying the way to greater independence. This does not create a puberty-free zone but leads to better communication and fewer family short circuits.
Participate Online and Develop Solutions Together
The course takes place online. For participation, a computer with a stable internet connection, camera, microphone, and speakers is required. The access data for the online appointments will be sent out in advance via email.
The five dates are on October 5, 12, and 19, as well as November 2 and 9, 2026, each from 7:30 PM to about 10:00 PM. The course is led by Dieter Güntner, KESS trainer and father of three children.
