Ulrich Brauchle – Visual: Art between Line, Surface and Reality
In the District Office Ostalbkreis in Aalen, the exhibition Visual invites visitors to closely examine new works by the Ellwangen artist Ulrich Brauchle. Pencil drawings, oil paintings, and oil pastel pieces walk the fine line between abstraction and figuration.
When Lines Begin to Speak
Ulrich Brauchle's visual language emerges from an intense dialogue of line, surface, and image carrier. Figurative motifs and landscapes encounter a free, abstracting design. What initially appears clear and immediate opens up complex perceptual spaces upon longer viewing.
Painting as a Concentrated Seeing Process
The exhibited works do not demand a quick response but rather an attentive encounter. Lines become denser, surfaces gain tension, and the composition develops its own internal balance. Thus, a quiet yet intense exhibition experience arises, where artistic intelligence takes the place of automated images.
Opening and Musical Accompaniment
The exhibition will be opened on October 8, 2026, at 7:00 PM by District Administrator Dr. Joachim Bläse. Subsequently, Ulrich Brauchle will introduce his exhibition. The musical accompaniment will be provided by Ulrich Brauchle and Norbert Botschek. The exhibition will then be accessible until December 31, 2026, during the opening hours of the District Office.
Artist Tours in November and December
Those who wish to explore the works firsthand can participate in artist tours with Ulrich Brauchle on November 19 and December 10, 2026, each at 5:30 PM. The exhibition connects the regional art scene, contemporary painting, and graphic precision into a calm, sustainable concert experience for the eyes.
Conclusion
Visual offers a concentrated encounter with drawing and painting, where abstraction and figuration engage in conversation. Those who want to not just observe art but experience it with time and attention will find an inspiring place for a visit in Aalen at the District Office Ostalbkreis.
