Black/White – Views of a City: Aalen in a Focused View
On November 11, 2026, the exhibition Black/White – Views of a City opens at the KONRAD Café / Bar in Aalen. Organized by Stefanie Winter, the presentation focuses on urban spaces and invites guests to rediscover familiar city views in a reduced photographic visual language.
Between Light and Shadow
Black and white photography sharpens the perception of contrasts, lines, and surfaces. Where color recedes, light guides, shadow play, facade structures, and architectural rhythms stand out more clearly. The exhibition promises a contemplation of work where Aalen is not just a geographical location but a visual structure of paths, buildings, and atmospheric moments.
The City as a Photographic Motif
The exhibition title refers to a dual perspective: black and white not only create an aesthetic order but also open a field of tension between documentation and interpretation. Urban photography transforms the everyday into a consciously composed image and makes visible what often goes unnoticed in a quick passing.
Art Experience at KONRAD
The KONRAD Café / Bar in the heart of Aalen combines culture, urban living feeling, and an open meeting place. In this special exhibition atmosphere, image contemplation meets everyday life, concentrated aesthetic experience meets lively exchange. The visit is suitable for art enthusiasts as well as anyone who wants to experience their city from a new visual perspective.
Conclusion: Seeing Aalen Anew
Black/White – Views of a City invites visitors to observe their familiar surroundings with sharpened eyes. Those who engage with the quiet power of monochrome images, architectural forms, and the poetic subtleties of urban spaces experience urban photography as cultural education and immediate art experience. The exhibition evening at the KONRAD Café / Bar offers an inspiring opportunity to discover Aalen live and anew.
