The Takeover! Ensemble meets the singer JORIS and dedicates itself to his songs in a special chamber music arrangement. On December 10, 2026, the concert at the Stadthalle Aalen connects the sound world of indie-pop and rock with the differentiated instrumentation of a chamber ensemble.
JORIS meets Chamber Ensemble
At the heart of the evening are the songs by JORIS. The Takeover! Ensemble arranges these pieces specifically for its instrumentation and thus opens a new perspective on the musical material. Familiar song structures, melodies, and moods encounter a classical instrumentation that adds additional sonic facets to the compositions.
The combination of voice, indie-pop, rock, and chamber musical arrangements makes the concert a special live experience. It's not merely about a repetition of familiar songs, but about an artistic encounter of two musical expressions. The ensemble's arrangements provide space for new colors and nuances in the songs.
