SWING FLÖCKCHEN brings Gospel, Swing, and Advent atmosphere to Aalen
When powerful brass arrangements meet multi-voiced gospel singing, a concert experience with a special live atmosphere is created: At the Gospel Community Concert SWING FLÖCKCHEN, the Big BAAnd from Aalen and the gospel choir GOOD VIBRATIONS unite for a festive evening at the WeststadtZentrum.
Big Band sound meets moving gospel
The BIG BAAnd stands for captivating big band music from Eastern Wuerttemberg and has been presenting the entire stylistic range from blues, swing, modern jazz, Latin to fusion since 2014. Its full sound forms the rhythmic foundation for a concert evening that connects musical precision with palpable audience atmosphere.
Joint stage performance with strong sound colors
At the community concert, the ensembles perform both individually and together. The overall musical direction is taken by professional trombonist and composer Eberhard Budziat. His arrangements combine orchestrated brass parts, gospel-typical choral voices, and a lively stage performance into a varied tension arc.
Festive accents and surprising moments
At the center is a Christmas-themed selection featuring gospel, swing, and groovy sound colors. A special highlight is a funk-rock version of Amazing Grace, where the choir and big band are complemented by a Grand Highland Bagpipe. This unusual instrumentation promises a striking moment between spiritual depth, powerful sound, and surprising dynamics.
A concert evening for the Advent season
The WeststadtZentrum will become a meeting point for all who want to experience gospel music, jazz, and festive live music in a communal atmosphere. The combination of choral harmony, brass sound, conducting, and rhythmic energy makes SWING FLÖCKCHEN a concert that is not only heard but physically felt.
Look forward to a varied Gospel Community Concert with the BIG BAAnd and GOOD VIBRATIONS. Those who want to experience the special synchronization of choir and big band, the warm Advent atmosphere, and the surprise moments live should mark the date in their calendars.
