Winter Blues at the House Piano: Claus Wengenmayr brings piano sound to Samocca Aalen
On Saturday, December 19, 2026, Claus Wengenmayr transforms Samocca Aalen into a vibrant meeting place for friends of handcrafted piano music. At the House Piano under the motto Winter Blues, distinct piano sounds, bluesy harmonies, and expressive musical accents resonate in a café atmosphere and pre-Christmas spirit.
When Winter Begins to Shine Musically
Starting at 10:30 AM, Claus Wengenmayr becomes the sonic centerpiece of the morning at the House Piano. The program combines the relaxed atmosphere of a café with the immediate effect of a live concert. Between warm room acoustics, sparkling runs, and bluesy melodies, a concert experience is created that fosters closeness to the music.
Bluesy Piano with a Personal Touch
Claus Wengenmayr is active as a pianist in various musical contexts and participates, among other things, in café events, exhibition openings, and concert formats. His playing stands for versatile live music, where melodic clarity, rhythmic sensitivity, and a sensitive stage performance come together.
Live Music and Samocca Atmosphere
The House Piano connects musical presence with a relaxed morning at Samocca. The audience's mood is created not in an anonymous hall, but in close proximity to the instrument: every note, every pause, and every harmonic twist remains palpable. Thus, the Winter Blues takes on a personal, warm, and lively note.
A Musical Morning for Aalen
The House Piano is part of a regularly held event series at Samocca Aalen. Following the previous themes Autumn Leaves and Pianolove, the December date is dedicated to the Winter Blues. The timeframe from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM invites guests to combine live music, breakfast, and café culture.
Those who want to experience piano music with a bluesy character, concentrated sound, and an informal live atmosphere will find a special musical start to Saturday with Claus Wengenmayr. This House Piano concert is especially worthwhile for those who enjoy experiencing music up close, authentically, and right in the midst of everyday life.
