Christmas Sounds with Heart and Energy in Aalen
The Böbinger Retirement Band brings a festive live atmosphere to the Spritzenhausplatz in Aalen on Saturday, November 28, 2026. Starting at 5 p.m., the ensemble combines traditional melodies, lively brass music, and festive sounds into an atmospheric concert experience as part of the Imperial City Advent.
Music from Joy in Performing
The Böbinger Retirement Band was founded in 1998 by musicians from the Singing and Music Association of Böbingen. Their motivation: to keep the passion for making music together alive even in retirement. With humor, dedication, and musical experience, the band creates a program that musically heralds the Advent season and leads directly into the festive time of year.
Traditional Sounds and Bohemian-Moravian Swing
The musicians' repertoire ranges from traditional Christmas carols to lively pieces from Bohemian-Moravian polka music. Precise synchronization, striking brass arrangements, and a direct, warm sound characterize the stage performance. Between the glow of lights and Christmas-decorated stalls, a concert backdrop is created where the audience's mood and live music connect immediately.
Advent Atmosphere in the Open Air
The Spritzenhausplatz transforms into a festive stage: Christmas lights, market stalls, and a wintry atmosphere accompany the concert. The music does not echo distantly from a hall but intertwines with the voices of the Advent market and the sounds of downtown Aalen. This creates a relaxed yet energetic experience for families, music lovers, and anyone who wishes to start the Advent season with live music.
A Musical Start to the Christmas Season
The Böbinger Retirement Band stands for cross-generational entertainment, living club culture, and the joy of making music together. The Christmas program offers familiar melodies, festive tones, and a stage presence that resonates directly with the audience.
Those who want to experience the Advent in Aalen with music, lights, and genuine audience connection should attend this concert live at the Spritzenhausplatz.
