Christmas Concert of the Big Band of the Aalen Music School brings festive jazz to Aalen
On Saturday, December 12, 2026, the Big Band of the Aalen Music School invites you to a Christmas concert at Spritzenhausplatz. Starting at 1:45 PM, the ensemble combines festive Advent atmosphere with powerful big band sound, creating a cheerful live experience right in the heart of Aalen.
When brass sound meets Christmas mood
The Big Band of the Aalen Music School represents a large jazz orchestra with a rhythm section, vocals, and multiple brass players. Their repertoire includes jazz standards as well as new pop and rock arrangements. At the Christmas concert, warm brass tones, precise saxophone sections, and a driving rhythm culminate in a soundscape with festive brilliance.
Live atmosphere under the Aalen Advent sky
The Spritzenhausplatz serves as the stage for a concert amid the pre-Christmas city happenings. Surrounded by lights, market stalls, and a wintry atmosphere, an immediate concert experience is created, where the audience's mood becomes part of the musical dramaturgy. The stage is outdoors and connects the open space with the concentrated energy of a big band performance.
Orchestration, groove, and musical precision
In the classic lineup, brass sections, rhythm group, and vocals come together. The musical direction by Timo Gneipelt shapes the synchronization of the ensemble and guides through arrangements that blend swing, pop, rock, and Christmas sound colors. A diverse sound emerges between rich tutti, rhythmic drive, and solo moments.
A concert for families and music lovers
The Christmas concert is aimed at everyone who wants to start the Advent season with live music. Families, friends, and jazz fans will experience a local ensemble that gives young musicians a grand stage while showcasing the musical diversity of the Aalen Music School.
Conclusion: Christmas sounds best live
The Big Band of the Aalen Music School brings together festive energy, jazzy elegance, and the special magic of an outdoor concert. Anyone who wants to experience Advent musically and communally in Aalen will find the perfect place for it at Spritzenhausplatz on December 12, 2026.
