Bluesrock under the Christmas Tree: Hazy & the Babydolls live in Aalen
On December 12, 2026, Spritzenhausplatz in Aalen will transform into an atmospheric stage for handcrafted bluesrock. At the Reichsstädter Advent, Hazy & the Babydolls will deliver powerful guitar riffs, bluesy chord progressions, and the dynamic energy of rock starting at 5 PM – free admission.
Guitar riffs meet festive atmosphere
Amidst lights, evergreen decor, and the vibrant hustle and bustle of the Christmas market, a concert experience with a distinctive sound unfolds. Typical blues structures, extended instrumental improvisations, and powerful rock dynamics give the Advent evening a special musical color.
Blues'n'Roll from the Ostalbkreis
Hazy & the Babydolls have stood for authentic blues and bluesrock for around 30 years. The five musicians from the Ostalbkreis blend vocals, blues harp, guitar, bass, drums, and piano into a classic lineup with plenty of room for groove, solos, and spontaneous stage performance. Their repertoire includes their own versions of songs by Dr. John, Taj Mahal, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Eric Clapton, among others.
Experienced live band with regional character
The band has already performed as a supporting act for Roger Chapman and Manfred Mann and played at the Deeper-than-Purple Festival in Vienna in front of more than 10,000 visitors. At the same time, their music remains closely connected to the club and event culture of the region. This mix of stage experience, joy of playing, and direct audience proximity shapes their live atmosphere.
Conclusion: Advent mood with powerful sound
Visitors can expect a free open-air concert with bluesy warmth, rocking energy, and festive flair. Anyone wanting to experience Aalen musically during the Advent season shouldn't miss Hazy & the Babydolls at Spritzenhausplatz.
