A Day Full of Discoveries and History at the Limes Museum Aalen
On June 7, 2026, the Limes Museum Aalen celebrates UNESCO World Heritage Day with a diverse program that takes visitors on an exciting journey into antiquity. The theme of the day revolves around war, peace, and mutual understanding in ancient times.
Visitors can participate in guided tours that vividly convey the significance and history of the Limes, offering bilingual (German and English) explanations.
For families, there is a special highlight: the workshop “Herb Warriors and Healing Heroes,” which introduces children and adults to the use of herbs in antiquity in a playful way. This workshop is free, but prior registration is required.
